Stalled South B tech hub gets new contractor and Sh3bn extra funding

The construction of a techno-centre in Nairobi's South B area, which has stalled for years, has been allocated an additional Sh3.4 billion and awarded to Kingsley Construction Company for Sh2.66 billion. This raises the total project cost by 57% to Sh8.56 billion. Although civil works were reported to be 50.17% complete as of June last year, no construction activities were observed at the site during the last visit.
