The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has warned that Nigeria risks losing aviation connectivity if operating costs and uncertainties persist. At the 82nd Annual General Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Director-General Willie Walsh highlighted that infrastructure has not kept pace and high business costs make the market unattractive for airlines. He cited Sweden's example, which lost connectivity after imposing an aviation tax.
