NUC approves establishment of medical college at Adamawa State University

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of a College of Medical Sciences at Adamawa State University (ADSU) in Mubi. Professor Auwal Abubakar, the leader of the NUC panel, expressed satisfaction with the available facilities but called for more manpower for the proposed departments. Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, assured the government's continued support for the university's goals, including the planned medical college.
