Officials of Dunamis Inland Terminal have denied that their truck operations are responsible for the recurring gridlock on Ago Palace Way in Lagos, blaming the poor road condition and seasonal rains. However, stakeholders including Sani Mohammed, General Secretary of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO), attribute the congestion to lack of coordination of truck movements to off-dock terminals. Residents and motorists complain of spending hours on a journey that normally takes minutes.
