Motorists Warn EPRA Against Fuel Increase Ahead of April 14 Pump Price Review

The Motorists Association of Kenya (MAK) has expressed concern over a potential fuel price increase by EPRA in the April to May 2026 review, stating that it could worsen the cost of living. Currently, fuel prices are set at Ksh178.28 for Super Petrol, Ksh166.54 for Diesel, and Ksh152.78 for Kerosene. MAK also called for the restoration of fuel subsidies removed by President William Ruto's administration, which have exposed Kenyans to extreme price shocks.
