US interested in Nigeria's resources - Sheikh Gumi

Controversial Islamic scholar Sheikh Ahmad Gumi alleged that the United States is interested in Nigeria's resources, describing Western countries as predators. He stated on his Facebook page that Nigeria should be concerned about its sovereignty in light of the US's growing focus on its resources. Gumi also criticized the lack of intellectuals in the US, labeling them as merchants of dollars and warmongers.
