First Congo refugees head home from Burundi

Approximately 470 Congolese refugees crossed into the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) from Burundi, marking the first organized return under a voluntary repatriation program. The refugees, who fled violence in eastern DRC, departed from the Busuma site and arrived in Uvira. While some express relief, many return with no resources and uncertainty about their future.
