Life Insurance: SanlamAllianz Claims 177 Billion FCFA Balance Sheet and 31% Market Share in Cameroon

SanlamAllianz claims a leading position in the Cameroonian life insurance market. According to CEO Laya Sidibé, the subsidiary achieved a turnover of 32.1 billion FCFA in 2025, representing 30% growth and an official market share of 31%. The total balance sheet reached 177 billion FCFA, with a share capital of 3.3 billion FCFA. In its press kit for Promote 2026, the group reports a life branch turnover of 32.21 billion FCFA, up 12.56% from 2024, and a market share of 29.42% on a market valued at 102.68 billion FCFA. The solvency and regulatory coverage ratios both stand at 119%.
