Iran reports discussions with European countries to allow passage through the Strait of Hormuz

Iran is engaging in discussions with European countries to obtain permissions for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic route for global oil trade. Iranian state television reported that these negotiations were initiated following the passage of ships from East Asia. The head of the parliamentary security commission also announced the establishment of a traffic management mechanism in the strait, which will soon be operational.
