Louga–Saint-Louis: A 'War Gaindé' Reduced to Ashes After a Spectacular Fire

A 'War Gaindé' transport vehicle was completely destroyed by a fire on Tuesday afternoon on the Louga – Saint-Louis road, near the S.P.I.A factory. The vehicle, coming from Dakar, caught fire due to an electrical short circuit, according to witnesses. Firefighters took nearly 30 minutes to control the blaze, but fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries, as passengers managed to evacuate in time. An investigation has been opened by the gendarmerie to determine the circumstances of the incident.
