‘Transparency and Merit’: Presidency Clarifies Recruitment of ARTP Director General

The Senegalese Presidency clarified that the call for applications for the DG of ARTP is part of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye's commitment to open and competitive recruitment for certain public positions. This approach has already been used for ARCOP, OFNAC, and university rectors. The process aims to select a highly qualified candidate to lead the strategic telecom and postal sectors under the Senegal 2050 Agenda. The procedure will be extended to other public bodies.
