NDLEA intercepts drugs hidden in clothes, garri

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted shipments of cocaine and opioids concealed in cartons of clothes in Lagos, destined for the UK and Australia. A total of 170 grams of cocaine and a variety of opioids, including 200 ampoules of pentazocine and 1,100 capsules of tramadol, were seized. Additionally, a 29-year-old man was arrested in Abuja for producing drug-laced cakes and cookies. In Delta State, 65,000 kilograms of skunk were destroyed during raids.
