Resumption of conflict in the Middle East affects air traffic

The resurgence of conflict in the Middle East is disrupting global air traffic during the summer holiday period. According to Anita Mendiratta, a global tourism and aviation advisor, approximately 30 to 40 percent of global air traffic passes through the Middle Eastern air corridor. Tourists are forced to change their travel plans due to the renewed conflict.
