Mali: Airstrikes by the army in Kidal, under the control of Tuareg rebels

The Malian army conducted airstrikes in Kidal, a city controlled by Tuareg rebels and their jihadist allies from JNIM, following attacks that resulted in the death of the Defense Minister and at least 23 others. The strikes targeted a military camp and fighters at the Kidal governorate. The rebels also attacked a military camp in Gourma Rharous, while reinforcements are on the way to support Malian forces.
