Mali’s terror attacks signal danger for Nigeria, West Africa — Experts

Recent terrorist attacks in Mali, which resulted in the death of Defence Minister Sadio Camara, have raised concerns among foreign policy experts who warn that Nigeria could be the next target. They emphasize that without improved regional coordination and effective intelligence gathering, jihadist attacks could spill over into Nigeria's North West and North Central regions. Professor Femi Otubanjo mentions the domino theory, stating that if jihadist groups gain power in Mali, it could encourage further attacks in the region.
