On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Yamoussoukro, the Directorate for Prevention and Promotion of Occupational Health and Safety (DPPSST) of the CNPS organized a 3-day workshop for doctors and nurses in manufacturing companies. The training focuses on preventing musculoskeletal disorders (TMS) and medical surveillance of exposed workers. The Ivorian manufacturing sector, expanding with an 11.9% increase in Q1 2025 and contributing 22.7% to GDP, presents occupational health risks. The goal is to identify risk factors, perform ergonomic analysis, and define a reinforced surveillance protocol.
