Weather: Heavy rains expected, here are all the regions affected (ANACIM)

The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) forecasts intensified rainfall from July 12 to 18, 2026. A first rainy and stormy episode is expected on July 12-13, affecting the South (Ziguinchor, Kolda, Sédhiou), East (Kédougou, Tambacounda, Matam), and Centre (Dakar, Thiès, Diourbel, Kaolack, Fatick, Kaffrine). A second, more widespread episode is forecast from July 16-18 across almost the entire country. ANACIM urges caution, especially for BFEM exam candidates.
