MONUSCO strengthens logistical capacities of the ceasefire verification mechanism

On June 4, 2026, MONUSCO handed over new offices and a fully equipped meeting room to the Expanded Joint Verification Mechanism Plus (EJVM+) in Goma, North Kivu. This initiative supports the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2808 (2025) and the Doha ceasefire agreement. The equipment will strengthen operational, logistical, and material capacities for ceasefire monitoring and coordination.
