Morocco Pitches Sahara as Next Investment Frontier at Montpellier

Morocco's southern provinces were highlighted at an economic forum in Montpellier, where Moroccan and French officials discussed investment opportunities. Organized by the Moroccan Consulate General in partnership with the Occitanie region, the forum focused on sectors such as renewable energy, green hydrogen, fisheries, and sustainable tourism. Major infrastructure projects, including the Dakhla Atlantic port and desalination plants, were presented as key pillars of a long-term development strategy.
