Benin Independence Day: Traffic modified on Boulevard de la Marina in Cotonou

Ahead of Benin's 66th independence anniversary on August 1, 2026, the Société de la Logistique des Événements (SoLE SA) announced the installation of grandstands on Boulevard de la Marina at the esplanade de l'Amazone starting June 26. Traffic will be modified with reversed traffic flow on that section for light vehicles, while heavy trucks must use alternative routes. The work is led by Roukiyath Mamah-Djiman, CEO of SoLE SA.
