Nigeria: Dangote files a new lawsuit against the authorities

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has filed a lawsuit in the Federal High Court of Nigeria to contest fuel import licenses granted to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company and other distributors. This action revives a dispute that Aliko Dangote's group had withdrawn in 2025. The refinery, aiming to reduce Nigeria's dependence on imported petroleum products, is facing challenges related to crude oil supply and competition from imported fuels.
