A new Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has resulted in 80 deaths, according to Health Minister Samuel-Roger Kamba. The virus, from the Bundibugyo strain, has a very high lethality rate of up to 50% and lacks any vaccine or specific treatment. One case has also been reported in Uganda, where a 59-year-old man from the DRC died after being admitted to the hospital.
