We are not in support of organisations, individuals promoting division, extremism - League of Imams and Alfas - Daily Post Nigeria

The League of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland issued an official statement clarifying that it does not support any organization or individual whose teachings promote division, hatred, extremism, or any ideology contrary to the Qur'an and Sunnah. It warned that certain groups falsely claim affiliation with the League, and reaffirmed its aim to promote Islamic unity and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria. The statement was signed by several chief imams and representatives, including President Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere.
