Burkina Faso's High Council for Communication (CSC) fined Canal+ 50 million CFA francs on June 12, 2026 for failing to provide free access to national public channels (RTB) to non-subscribers. The regulator gave 30 days to pay the fine and another 30 to lift access restrictions. The dispute stems from a February 2025 agreement requiring unrestricted access to public channels.
