OGEPA tasks industries on environmental compliance, tree planting

The General Manager of Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA), Kehinde Bello, called on industries to strengthen compliance with environmental regulations. During a familiarisation tour across three operational zones, he urged companies to organise staff training, partner with the government on tree planting to combat global warming, and properly manage hazardous waste. Director of Inspectorate Babatunde Bolarinwa outlined required environmental permits, while Associate Director of Fidson Healthcare, Mark Tijani, commended the collaboration between the agency and industries for sustainable development.
