State police funding must be first-line charge, Bamidele says

Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele has said that funding for state police services must be a first-line charge in the ongoing amendment of the 1999 Constitution. He warned that business groups, cabals, and criminals could hijack state police services if their financial independence is not guaranteed.
