Parents await reunion with rescued Oyo schoolchildren at LAUTECH

Parents and relatives of 39 pupils and seven teachers abducted from three schools in Oriire LGA, Oyo State on May 15, 2026, gathered at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital on July 14, 2026, awaiting reunion. The victims were rescued on July 10 after a security operation that eliminated some terrorists and arrested eight. Governor Seyi Makinde received them on July 13.
