PDP: After S-Court blow, leaders fix emergency NEC meeting

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, has scheduled an emergency meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC) for Monday following a Supreme Court ruling that dismantled its National Working Committee (NWC). Senator Adolphus Wabara, the factional Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, stated that the Board assumed administrative leadership to prevent a leadership vacuum. He also acknowledged the loyalty and resilience of the dissolved NWC members.
