Police rescue two abducted Taraba girls, arrest suspects in Bauchi

Bauchi State Police rescued two 13-year-old girls, Aisha and Zainab, allegedly abducted from their community in Taraba State. Two suspects, Auwal Muhammad and Abdulgaffar Musa, both aged 20, were arrested in Bara Town, Kirfi LGA. The girls had been missing since March 2026 after leaving their homes. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for prosecution.
