South African police officer lowered into crocodile-infested river to recover human remains

South African police recovered human remains after an officer was lowered from a helicopter into a crocodile-infested river searching for a businessman swept away by floodwaters. A 4.5-meter crocodile, suspected of having eaten the missing man, was killed before the complex operation took place. DNA tests will be conducted to confirm the identity of the remains, which also included several types of shoes.
