Prince Epenge to Patrick Muyaya: “The government itself should clarify its position on inclusive national dialogue”

Responding to Patrick Muyaya’s call for the C64 coalition to clarify its position after Joseph Kabila created the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation, Prince Epenge said the government itself should state its position on inclusive national dialogue. The Lamuka spokesperson said Martin Fayulu continues to view dialogue as the only way out of the crisis and opposes any change to the Constitution. Speaking at the second Africa Raw Materials Summit 2026, he called for continued industrial policies to expand processing plants and manufacturing clusters and reduce exports of unprocessed commodities. He said a proposed bill requiring at least 30% of raw-material processing to take place in Nigeria could generate more than 1.2 million jobs and increase annual non-oil export earnings by over $1.2 billion. Ike-Muonso also cited the AfCFTA, the Nigeria First Policy and the 2025 Nigeria Industrial Policy as measures that could support local production.
