Benue, Plateau tragedies: Peter Obi sends urgent message to Tinubu

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), called on the Federal Government to strengthen security measures following deadly attacks in Benue and Plateau States. At least 16 people were killed in the Otukpo-Nobi community of Benue, and nine members of the same family, including a two-month-old baby, in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau. Obi urged a proactive security strategy based on intelligence, rapid response, and accountability, demanding that perpetrators be identified, arrested, and prosecuted. He extended condolences to the families and governments of the affected states.
