Deputy Speaker Kalu wins APC ticket for 3rd term bid

Deputy Speaker Dr Benjamin Kalu has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Bende Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 General Elections. He was elected unopposed during the party's primary election, receiving unanimous support from members across the 13 wards of the constituency. Kalu pledged to continue providing quality representation and to promote policies aimed at improving the welfare of the people in Bende.
