Four people die trying to board small boat in Channel crossing attempt

Four people, including two men and two women, have died off the northern coast of France while attempting to cross the English Channel. According to the Pas-de-Calais prefecture, they were swept away by currents while trying to board a water taxi. One person was treated for hypothermia and 37 others were hospitalized. Rescue efforts are ongoing following the incident near Boulogne.
