Atiku, Peter Obi, Amaechi, Kwankwaso have been asking me about El-Rufai - Son reveals

A member of the House of Representatives from Kaduna North, Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, disclosed that presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar of the ADC and Peter Obi of the NDC called him to inquire about his father, Nasir El-Rufai, who is currently detained. Their running mates, Rotimi Amaechi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, also contacted him for updates. El-Rufai was arrested in February 2026 by the ICPC over alleged fraud during his tenure as governor and faced multiple court appearances in March and April 2026.
