Reports indicate that properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed in public schools in the Ogbomoso geopolitical zone of Oyo State due to heavy rain on Tuesday evening. Several secondary schools, including Emmanuel Agboola Baptist Grammar School and Muslim Comprehensive High School, suffered damages such as blown roofs and collapsed classroom walls. A teacher expressed concern about the impact of these destructions on students' learning when classes resume later this month.
