Get ready for the Youth Olympics in Dakar: Routes and traffic to know

The Youth Olympic Games will run from October 31 to November 13, 2026, in Senegal, with about 2,700 athletes aged 14 to 17 competing in 25 sports across Dakar, Diamniadio and Saly. The mobility plan includes 166 measures, reserved lanes and traffic restrictions, particularly around Stade Abdoulaye-Wade for the opening ceremony, expected to draw about 50,000 people. The TER is recommended as the best way to avoid traffic, while exits 10, 11 and 12 of the A1 will serve different traffic groups. The Diamniadio overpass, still unfinished in early October, was expected to be completed before the Games.

If CAS upholds the forfeit, Morocco will retain the title, with only very limited grounds for an appeal to the Swiss Federal Tribunal; an online document claiming the title had been awarded to Senegal was identified as fake.
