Bandit attack: Kebbi govt deploys delegation, announces security reinforcement in Wasagu - Daily Post Nigeria

A high-powered delegation led by Deputy Governor Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida visited Wasagu District on Saturday to commiserate with residents over a deadly bandit attack that killed two, injured several, and abducted six. The delegation announced immediate security reinforcement measures, including the deployment of a Mobile Police Barracks and plans for a Forward Operating Base. Governor Nasir Idris directed security agencies to intensify operations to prevent further attacks, while the Chief of Wasagu called for increased security presence along border communities.
