Rising number of sick notes delays Madlanga Commission testimonies

The Madlanga Commission faces further delays as IDAC head Andrea Johnson's testimony was postponed due to illness. Johnson was rushed to hospital on her way to the hearing and submitted a medical certificate that the commission found lacking in detail. Other witnesses, such as businessman Brown Mogotsi, had previously submitted vague medical certificates. Commissioner Feroz Khan also missed a hearing after an assassination attempt.
