Soludo inaugurates 8th Governing Council of Ojukwu varsity

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, inaugurated the 8th Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) on Thursday in Awka. He tasked the new members with institutional reform and academic excellence. The council is chaired by Prof. Peter A. Onwualu as Pro-Chancellor. Soludo criticized the previous council's dormancy and expressed confidence in the new team to reverse the trends.

Governor Yusuf reshuffles special advisers in major Kano government reorganisation

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved a major reshuffle of his special advisers, scrapping the positions of Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs and Special Adviser on Liaison Offices in Abuja. Habiba Mustapha Barwa, formerly Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs, was reassigned as Special Adviser on Special Duties (Women), and Umar Uba Akawu moved to Political Affairs. Other transfers include Akibu Isa Murtala to Human Resources and Ibrahim Adam to Social Media. New appointees include Bello Nuhu Bello as Special Adviser on Administration, Ahmed Muhammad Aruwa as Publicity, and Buhari Sule Kura for NGOs.
