Meeting in Bouaké for the review workshop of the 2025-2026 cotton campaign, stakeholders noted improved production with yields rising from 700 kg/ha to over one ton, though the target of 1,200 tons was not met. Several difficulties remain: drought, late rains, rising input prices, poor-quality phytosanitary products, delays in collection and payment up to 45 days, cattle damage, and labor shortages. Participants recommended setting input prices at the start of the campaign and better monitoring.
