Senegal: A Decade of Unresolved Climate Displacement

Ten years after coastal floods destroyed their homes, around 1,000 families in Khar Yalla, near Saint-Louis, still live in uncertainty. Although some progress has been made, the Senegalese government has yet to provide a permanent solution. Human Rights Watch calls for the regularization of tenure permits for these families to improve their living conditions.
