Several households victims of looting and violence in Masisi

Several households were victims of looting and violence during an incursion by unidentified armed men in the village of Kishonja, in the Masisi territory, on the night of April 29. The assailants looted homes and subjected some residents to acts of torture. This attack occurred 24 hours after another armed incursion at the 8th CEPAC primary school, forcing many families to live as internally displaced persons. The incursions are attributed to armed groups, despite the AFC-M23's control in the area.
