Solidarity action in Danané: CMDT honors 2000 mothers of the region

On Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Danané town hall, the Confederation of Development Mutuals of Tonkpi (CMDT) offered 2,000 pagne cloths to an equal number of mothers from the region's five departments. The sponsor, Mrs. Amy Vagondo, wife of the Interior Minister, praised women as pillars of families and communities. Several dignitaries, including Mayor Khalifa Diabaté and Minister Vagondo Diomandé, supported the initiative. Boumi Leuha, spokesperson for the recipients, expressed gratitude and called for unity for Tonkpi's development.
