Sonamines records first profit since creation, at 724.7 million FCFA in 2025

The National Mining Company (Sonamines S.A.) closed the 2025 fiscal year with a net profit of 724.7 million FCFA, its first positive result since its creation in December 2020. The accounts finalized on June 12, 2026 in Yaoundé show a total balance sheet of 5.23 billion FCFA and a turnover of 30.55 million FCFA. The net profit is nearly 24 times the turnover, and the board of directors gave discharge to management before the ordinary general meeting.
