Successions to traditional chiefdom in Gbêkê: Diabo and Languibonou accuse a chief of interference

Traditional chiefs from the cantons of Diabo and Languibonou accused the regional president of the National Chamber of Kings and Traditional Chiefs, Nanan N'Goran Koffi II, of interference in customary affairs. Meeting on June 3, 2026, they issued a protest motion denouncing his involvement in the succession to the chiefdom of Saoundi village, the interim management of Gblo Blè canton, and the designation of Gbêkê representatives.
