TCN announces planned power outage in Oyo

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a one-day power outage affecting parts of Oyo State, scheduled for April 9, 2026. The outage is necessary for maintenance work on a 40MVA power transformer in Jericho. Affected areas include UCH, Yemetu, Oremeji, and others. TCN expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to electricity consumers in these areas.
