Attempted Murder: Kadia, the Terror of Mauritania, Sows Chaos in Thiès

In Thiès, a family dispute over a cooking pot led C. Diop, alias Kadia, to scald her niece C. Bal with boiling water. Kadia was arrested and held for attempted murder and assault. The victim suffered severe burns with a 25-day temporary incapacity. Kadia allegedly has a prior conviction in Mauritania for similar violence.
