Three miners dead in a landslide in Kailo

Three artisanal miners, members of the same family, died in a landslide on April 25 at the Mususa Sud mining site in the Kailo territory, Maniema province. A fourth person was seriously injured and is in critical condition. The NGO AGIREC is calling for urgent action from the authorities, noting that this incident is the 14th fatal accident recorded this year in the province's mines, attributing the cause to a lack of oversight by SAEMAPE agents.
