Transport Paralyzed Along Northern Bypass as Marurui Squatters Protest Land Grabbing

Transport was temporarily paralyzed along the Northern Bypass as squatters in Marurui, Kasarani area of Nairobi protested against alleged land grabbing by a private developer. The protesters, claiming their right to remain on the land they have occupied for decades, blocked the road with tree trunks and burning tyres. They are calling for intervention from Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and President William Ruto.
